Inshore Trips

Inshore Fishing Charters Cape Town

At Ocean Life Charters. we want to give you the best experience when it comes to inshore fishing in Cape Town. Our experienced and knowledgeable crew will take you to some of the best spots in the region where you can cast a line and make the most of your time  on the water.

During our Full Day and Half Day Inshore Fishing Trips, you can target various inshore species such as Yellowtail. Cape Snoek/Barracouta, Bonito and various reef species around Cape Point or heading towards Seal Island and Swartklip to target various Redfish, Reef Fish, Kob, Yellowtail, Cape Salmon and Elf/Bluefish.

All trips depart from the False Bay Marlin and Tuna Club in Simon’s Town. There’s a restaurant on site that is usually happy to cook or prepare your catch after the trip – the perfect way to end your day on the water.

We’re also proud members of the False Bay Fishing Charter Association, reflecting our commitment to safety, sustainability, and high standards of service.

With “Ocean Life” we can carry a maximum of 6 passengers but for the most comfort we recommend 4 to 5

ALL CHARTERS

We guarantee to provide you with the best tackle and freshest bait so that your experience is enjoyable and successful. If you would like to bring your own tackle, please intorm us in advance and we will be more than willing to accommodate you.

We welcome kids on board, however prior arrangements must be made. To secure your booking, a 30% deposit must be paid upfront. If you need to cancel, you must do so at least 7 days in advance in order for you to receive a full reimbursement of your deposit.

In order to take part in our fishing trips, you must possess a valid post office issued Fishing permit. Before you join us on the sea, please make sure to bring along the following items: warm clothes, sunglasses, a hat, sunblock, gumboots/waterproof shoes and some snacks and drinks to keep you going.
